An international Developer panel

Mañana a las 12PM tendre el honor de participar en un panel internacional de desarrolladores java, en el cuan contaremos a directores de SUN, y a la prensa de USA como es ser un desarrollador java en Argentina en mi caso, el estado del jug, participacion del mismo de la comunidad de desarrolladores.

Estan en ingles, ni bien tenga tiempo las traduzco,
Organization:
  1. How is your JUG governed and/or organized? (volunteers, board, one person does everything)?

  2. What kind of support do you get from industry / commercial entities?

  3. What about universities and academic institutions?

  4. What do you consider is the main objective of your JUG?

Membership:
  1. Makeup of your membership (newbies / professionals / academic)?

  2. How formal is your membership? Are there dues for membership?

Activities:
  1. How often does your group meet?

  2. What is the format of your meetings?

  3. What is the attendance level?

  4. Describe other activities your group supports (i.e. JUG-run local developer conferences, code camps, coding contests)?

  5. How do you think your JUG helps developers and business in your area?

  6. To share experiences with other JUGs, what activity do you think your JUG does that could be replicated in other areas?

INTERESTING AND FUN THINGS:

  1. What do you find unique about your JUG?

  2. Is there a unique story about an event at your JUG you'd like to relate?

  3. Tell us a bit of history on your JUG (How long it has been operating, how did it start, how it grew, etc)

  4. What is interesting about your region?

  5. What about software development and Java in your area, any interesting situation or important facts?

  6. What motivates you the most to be active in your JUG?

La verdad que cada vez veo que hay mas cosas por hacer en nuestro jug. No te vayas a venir sin fotos de esa charla! ;)
